Most higher-value items remain in the estate sale. If a significant specialty piece deserves evaluation through a specialized auction house or another specialist, we will discuss that option with you rather than automatically sending it elsewhere.
The point is not to force every object through the same selling method. It is to evaluate significant pieces carefully enough to make an informed decision about how to handle them.

Designated higher-value barcoded items are individually tracked and include photographs in the reporting, while appropriate lower-value merchandise may be recorded by category.
